Following the exceptional success of its first screening, the museum is delighted to announce the extension of the 360° immersive film Battlefield. This unique experience, which has been highly acclaimed by our visitors, will remain available for longer than planned so that as many people as possible can enjoy it.
Directed by François Vautier, this film takes you deep into the trenches of Verdun in 1916.

This immersive work, combining real footage and innovative VR technology, was presented in competition at the Venice Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival and offers a unique sensory and emotional immersion into the trenches of the Great War.
Through the eyes of Julien, a young soldier responsible for maintaining telecommunications, the viewer experiences the anguish, fear, and desolation of war. Champ de Bataille accurately explores human memory, fragility, and brotherhood in a context of extreme violence.
