The Museum is open every day except Tuesday from 09:30 to 18:00 (closed 1 January, 1 May and 25 December).
Annual closure from 15 August to 1 September 2023.
NB.: The physical ticket office closes at 17:00, the temporary exhibition and roof terrace at 17:30, the permanent exhibition at 17:45 and the shop at 18:00.

From the A4 motorway, take the RN3 road towards Meaux then Soissons.

There are two visitor trails to discover the collections: the chronological trail and the thematic trail.
The Museum’s shop offers a variety of original World War I-themed products, such as books, stationery, models and games, and souvenirs.
There is a large selection of works of varied themes, including literature, specialist works, children’s books and comic books. Visitors can also purchase the Museum’s guide book, “C comme Collections”, featuring the catalogue of collections and the “Battle of the Marne 1914” circuit.

The Museum has a restaurant located near the entrance. Set menus are available, as well as drinks and snacks.

When weather permits, picnic tables are available in the Museum’s garden.

The documentation centre has a collection of almost 8,000 works on the First World War. They include general, specific and thematic works, as well as contemporary archives of the conflict.

The museum has been awarded the “Tourisme et Handicap” label for welcoming the visually- and hearing-impaired and those with intellectual and physical disabilities, and is accessible to all persons with disabilities.
Guide dogs are welcome. Manual wheelchairs are available free of charge (in exchange for an identity document), as well as stick-chairs and magnifying lamps with multiple magnification for persons with visual disabilities.
The museum visit is facilitated with tools, subtitles, sound and interactive objects, as well as assistance from the Museum’s staff.
