Plan Vigipirate: to ensure visitor safety, the Great War Museum applies the preventive counter-terrorism measures set down by the Government for public administrations.

BY CAR

From the A4 motorway, take the RN3 road towards Meaux then Soissons.

Free parking with 120 spaces, with specific spaces close to the entrance for people with disabilities.

BY TRAIN

30 minutes from Paris via Gare de l’Est station

Line P: Towards Meaux or Château-Thierry (check the train stops in Meaux).

35 minutes from Chessy Marne-la-Vallée RER A/TGV station by bus 19 to Meaux train station, and 30 minutes from Val d’Europe bus station via bus 69 (Seine-et-Marne Express route) to Meaux train station.

BY BUS

10 minutes from Meaux train station by bus, using routes G, S (Hauts de Chantereine stop opposite the Museum).

Check the bus timetables carefully before coming to the museum, especially on Saturdays and Sundays! Also think about the small free shuttle!

35 minutes from Chessy Marne-la-Vallée RER A/TGV station by bus 19 to Meaux train station, and 30 minutes from Val d’Europe bus station via bus 69 (Seine-et-Marne Express route) to Meaux train station.

FREE SHUTTLES

A “little” shuttle runs between Meaux Station and the Great War Museum free of charge every weekend (all year round) and every day during school holidays in zone C.
The “P’tite Navette” can accommodate 8 tourists on board.

BY TAXI

Taxis de Meaux offers transport seven days a week, from 06:00 to midnight.

There are two visitor trails to discover the collections: the chronological trail and the thematic trail.

Documentation centre

The documentation centre has a collection of almost 8,000 works on the First World War. They include general, specific and thematic works, as well as contemporary archives of the conflict.
